We are always eager to work with interns and volunteers who share our vision for bilingual theater, community storytelling, and art-based healing. If you’re curious about how performing art and community mental health intersect, and you want to support work that lives both onstage and beyond it, we’d love to hear from you.

Internships

Internships typically last 2–6 months, often aligned with academic semesters or summer terms. Most internships involve 10–20 hours per week, with responsibilities depending on the production season and community project cycle. Interns may support:

  • Bilingual theater development and production

  • Interdisciplinary workshops and talkbacks

  • Innovative ideas for community events

  • Arts administration, communications, or dramaturgy

We frequently partner with community organizations, so some internships may be paid, depending on funding and institutional arrangements. Interns gain a close, hands-on look at how Vermilion creates new bilingual work, collaborates with community partners, and holds health-centered creative processes.

Volunteers

Volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year and may include PR outreach, front-of-house support for performances, event assistance for panels and workshops, and audience engagement.

To learn more, volunteer, or be considered for an internship, please fill out the form below—we’re always happy to stay in touch. Thank you for your interest in supporting Vermilion Theater!
